CINCINNATI – The Northern Kentucky men's tennis program was defeated down by Horizon League adversary Youngstown State Saturday evening, 5-2. The Norse drop to 6-7 (1-4 Horizon) overall this season, while the Penguins improve to 10-8 (5-0 Horizon).
Match Notables
- Northern Kentucky began the day on the right foot, as the duo of Santiago Casamayor and Jorge Rodriguez captured the doubles point for the Norse by defeating Mainguy and Alvarez 7-5 overall.
- The team of Emilien Burnel and Tom Berry took down Mandocescu and Fouzas in doubles action, 6-2.
- In singles action, Jorge Rodriguez beat Fouzas 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (3) to give NKU its second point in the contest. Rodriguez improves to 4-7 this season and is currently 1-4 in Horizon League action.
