CINCINNATI – The Northern Kentucky women's tennis team was defeated by Youngstown State inside the Five Seasons Sports Club (Cincinnati). The Norse drop to 2-9 this season and are currently 0-3 in Horizon League play. The Penguins improve to 9-8 and 3-0 in conference.

- YSU picked up victories over the Norse in doubles action to begin this Horizon League bout. Daniela Rosenberger and Ananya Kothakota were defeated by the team of Masarikova and Rigazio, and Sylvia Gray and Elizabeth Rozin were downed by the tandum of Stanmore and Minich.
- The Norse battled Youngstown State fiercely in this conference match as four total singles contests went three sets. NKU was defeated in all singles matches against YSU, with the Penguins winning 7-0 overall.
