HOOVER, Ala. – The Northern Kentucky Baseball program showed their resilience Saturday afternoon against MAC program Eastern Michigan, fighting back from a 4-0 deficit to ultimately defeat the Eagles 5-4 and taking this opening series.

NORSE NOTES
- Fisher kept his opening season hot streak going in game number two against EMU, recorded two hits, one RBI, a triple and a stolen base to help lead the Norse to a second straight victory.
- The trio of Echeman, Werrmann (W, 1-0) and Klingenbeck (S, 1) got the job done on the mound today, as all three provided solid performances for NKU this afternoon.
- Vorhees' two-run double in the bottom of the sixth was the catalyst to ignite the Norse offense today as NKU tied up the game in this inning and in the bottom of the seventh took a 5-4 lead after the Schneider sacrifice fly.
