YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Northern Kentucky men's tennis program continued Horizon League play from Youngstown, Ohio Saturday afternoon, where the Norse fell in a close battle with the Penguins.

NORSE NOTES
  • The Norse stared the day strong after taking the doubles point from YSU with wins from both Baratosz Losiak / Josef Zapletal, who clinched for Northern Kentucky and Brandon Ponomarew. The duo of Losiak and Zapletal improve to 7-3 overall this season while the team of Ponomarew and Casamayor are now 2-0 in 2023. 
  • Santiago Casamayor continued his strong singles season against Youngstown State with a win over Will Everett. Casamayor improves to 6-3 overall this season as well. Ponomarew also earned himself a singles victory over Clement Mainguy to improve to 6-8 on the year also.
