The performance tied for 15th in all of NCAA DI softball for strikeouts in a game so far this season. It was the most punchouts in a contest by a NKU student-athlete since March 7, 2012.
- The showing was also the first no-hitter in the NKU Division I era and the Norse's first overall since March 20, 2012.
- To make the performance even more impressive, Hicks walked the first batter of the game and then proceeded to get 21 straight outs.

Megan Lenhart (2-for-3) each posted a RBI.
-

- A Rhoads RBI double was followed right up by a Lenhart RBI single to give the Norse a 2-0 lead in the top of the sixth.
- Like she did all game, Hicks shut Detroit Mercy down over the final two frames to give NKU another big conference win.
