Women's Tennis Topples Panthers In Road Win

MILWAUKEE – The Northern Kentucky women's tennis program punched their ticket to the 2023 Horizon League Championship Tournament with a crucial victory over the Panthers of Milwaukee Saturday afternoon by a final score of 4-3. 

Milwaukee began the day taking the doubles point from the Norse, but Northern Kentucky fought right back in singles action however. Ananya Kothakota, Mariajose Hernandez, Sylvia Gray and Elizabeth Rozin all locked down singles wins over Milwaukee to take the match at 4-3 overall. Rozin's victory clinched the match for the Norse, which she won in dramatic fashion after saving match point just earlier, Rozin went on to defeat Burgerdijk with an ace for the win.
