HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky baseball program fell in game three to the Penguins of Youngstown State in the final home game of the 2023 season. YSU took the series over the Norse by a final score of 17-13 from the Bill Aker Baseball Complex.

• Fisher continued his hot streak into this final home game of the 2023 season, smashing three home runs with five overall RBI. This bumps his home run total to 17 on the season, just three shy now of the NKU Baseball single-season record of 20 previously set by Griffin Doershing (2021). Fisher also increased his RBI total to 64 on the year, just eight away from the single-season record set by Steve Walton (2002).
• The Norse have totaled 28 wins on the season now, which is a NKU Baseball program record for most victories in the NCAA Division I era dating back to 2017 (25-33).

Northern Kentucky Baseball is right back at it this Tuesday, May 16 as the Norse make the quick trip south to Louisville, Kentucky. NKU and the Cardinals will meet inside Jim Patterson Stadium for a mid-week nonconference bout with first pitch scheduled for 6:00 PM (ET). This game will be be broadcasted via ACCNX (ESPN) as well.
