DAYTON, Ohio – The No. 3 seeded Northern Kentucky baseball program saw their season come to an end Thursday after falling twice in the Horizon League Tournament to No. 2 seed Oakland and then to No. 5 seed Milwaukee in extra innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Top 3rd: The Panthers jumped out to a 6-0 lead through three innings against the Norse
- Bottom 3rd: NKU struck back with RBI singles from McFadden-Ackman, Vorhees and Odom to cut the MKE lead in half at 6-3
- Top 4th: Milwaukee added two more runs with a single to left center field, extending the lead to 8-3
- Bottom 4th: Fisher belts a two-run home run to right field to close the MKE gap to just three runs
- Bottom 8th: McFadden-Ackman singles to right field to bring home Cleary Simpson. Vorhees smashes a triple to right center field to drive in two runs, tying the game at 8-8
- Top 10th: MKE adds two runs in extra innings to eliminate NKU and advance in the Horizon League Tournament
NORSE NOTES
- Fisher concludes his phenomenal season totaling 19 home runs and 68 RBI. Noah's stellar year saw him break the NKU single-season record in walks with 53 total. Fisher also ranks second in Northern Kentucky history in single-season runs scored (66) and in home runs (19), along with ranking fourth in RBI (68).
- McFadden-Ackman also ends his historic season ranking third all-time in Northern Kentucky single-season standing with 69 runs batted in.
- The Norse finish this historic season totaling 30 wins on the season now, which is a NKU Baseball program record for most victories in the NCAA Division I era dating back to 2017 (25-33).
