MIAMISVILLE, Ohio – Northern Kentucky University Women's Tennis looked to bounce back from a season-opening loss against EKU with an away match against Dayton on Monday afternoon. Unfortunately for the Norse, the result was more of the same by the same scoreline as they did Friday night, dropping the match 6-1 to the Flyers.
Mariajose Hernandez moved to 1-1 on the year with her first singles win, a 6-2, 6-2 victory. NKU once again only had five competing athletes, but the Norse dropped the doubles point regardless as both NKU teams fell in the competition.
