Men’s Soccer scores twice in second half to blank IU Indy, 2–0

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University men's soccer team returned home on Saturday afternoon and delivered a strong second-half performance, earning a 2–0 Horizon League victory over IU Indy at NKU Soccer Stadium. After a scoreless first half, the Norse capitalized on their second-half chances to secure the win, their second straight in conference play.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– After a scoreless first half, Caleb Frakes broke the deadlock in the 56th minute, scoring his first career goal off an assist from Joshua Cline.
Jason Purks added insurance in the 71st minute with his first goal of the season, sealing the victory for the Norse.
– NKU totaled eight shots, with both shots on goal finding the back of the net.
– Goalkeeper Alex Kron earned his fourth win of the season and second shutout, as the Norse defense held the Jaguars without a shot on target.
– Both teams finished even in corner kicks (4–4).
