Men’s Soccer blanked in home loss to Oakland

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – After a non-conference loss to Duquesne on Tuesday, Northern Kentucky University men's soccer took on Oakland in its final home match of the season. The Golden Grizzlies scored an early goal and never looked back as they came away with a 2-0 victory. The loss saw NKU slip out of the Horizon League tournament picture, as they now need to pick up points on the road against Milwaukee and Purdue Fort Wayne in their final two matches.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– NKU outshot the Golden Grizzlies, 13-6, and tied in the shot on goal battle, three-all. Norse keeper Alex Kron made one save. 
– The Norse also won the corner kick battle, six-five.
