ROCHESTER, Mich. — Northern Kentucky baseball was unable to stay undefeated in Horizon League play on Friday, as the Norse fell in heartbreaking fashion at Oakland.
Josh Williams starred for the Norse, hitting a home run and finishing with three total hits.

- Josh Williams' homer put NKU up 2-0 in the second.
- Oakland tied the game at two before the Norse plated a run in the fifth and sixth.
- Logen Devenport put the Norse up 5-3 in the seventh, and Brennan Rowe homered in the ninth to make the lead 6-4, but three Oakland runs in the ninth gave the Grizzlies the win.
