HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky baseball got back in the win column on Sunday, as the Norse took down Milwaukee behind a spectacular performance from Aaron Boster.
NKU finished the week 2-2, and salvaged the series with the victory.

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN - PITCHING
- Aaron Boster was dominant for the Norse, twirling six no-hit innings with six strikeouts to pick up the win.
- Evan Fry allowed a pair of runs, but bounced back to throw three innings with three strikeouts to earn the save.
BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN - BATTING
- Three Norse finished with multiple hits in the win, led by a 3-4 day from Logen Devenport. Devenport had an RBI, and swiped a pair of bases as well.
- Gabe Miranda finished 2-4 with a double and a walk.
- Tyler Shaneyfelt finished 0-4 but did drive in a run with a sac fly.
- Nolan Sparks homered for the second straight day as part of a 2-5 day.
- Marcus Harrison drew three walks for NKU.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- NKU plated all six of its runs in the first three innings, scoring one in the first, three in the second and a pair in the third.
- From there, Aaron Boster and Evan Fry combined to hold the Panthers to just two runs on three hits, allowing the Norse to salvage the series with a win.

- The Norse hit the road on Tuesday to renew an old GLVC rivalry, as NKU takes on Southern Indiana in Evansville.
