CHICAGO, Ill. – Northern Kentucky University Women's Tennis looked to wrap up the regular season with a bang as they took on Chicago State in their penultimate regular season match on Friday. The Norse swept the Cougars, clinching a spot in the Horizon League Women's Tennis Championship with the win, and look to improve their seeding tomorrow with a win over Milwaukee. 

In the match, the Norse were able to secure the doubles point as NKU's Didi Steenhuis and Alyssa Cameron secured a 6-0 victory while Mariajose Hernandez and Darya Gneidina took home a 6-4 doubles victory in the #1 slot. 

In singles play, all Norse earned two-set victories. Ashlee Fisk won her match in the #1 slot, 6-1, 6-3. Darya Gneidina was the only other Norse to lose a game, as she won her sets 6-1, 6-2, while Serrano, Cardoso, and Cameron all earned 6-0, 6-0 victories.
