HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky baseball's six game winning streak came to an end on Saturday, as the Norse fell to Oakland after the Golden Grizzlies posted a five spot in the ninth.

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN - PITCHING
- Aaron Boster threw six innings for the Norse, allowing four earned runs on five hits and three walks. Boster struck out four in a no decision.
- Logan Wilson threw 2.1 innings, beginning with a perfect seventh and eighth. Wilson ran into trouble in the ninth and allowed a pair of runs.
- Evan Fry took the loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- NKU took the lead in the first on a sac fly from Josh Williams.
- Oakland scored three unanswered before Brennan Rowe cut the deficit to one with a solo homer in the third.
- Marcus Harrison's fifth inning homer tied the game at three. Logen Devenport doubled home a run later in the inning to give NKU a 4-3 lead.
- Oakland tied the game in the sixth, but NKU scored a run in the seventh and eighth to take a 6-4 lead.
- Oakland plated five in the ninth to go up 9-6, but the Norse attempted to rally. Braydon Rogers singled to score a run, and the Norse brought the winning run to the plate, but NKU couldn't get any closer.
