DAYTON, Ohio — Northern Kentucky baseball is now on the brink of elimination at the 2025 Horizon League Baseball Championships, as the Norse's comeback fell short in a loss to Milwaukee.
NKU fell down early and cut the deficit to as little as two runs, but couldn't get any closer in the loss.

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN - PITCHING
- Aaron Boster got the start for the Norse and took the loss after allowing six runs on six hits and four walks across 3.1 innings.
- Logan Wilson (4.1 innings) and Aaron Massie (1.1 innings) gave the Norse a chance out of the pen, allowing just a pair of runs (one each) with two strikeouts apiece.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- NKU fell down 3-0 after the first, as a pair of Panther homers gave UWM an early lead.
- After getting a run back in the third UWM plated four runs to take a 7-1 lead.
- Gabe Miranda's three run homer cut the deficit to 7-4.
- NKU plated a run in the seventh and another in the ninth, but couldn't get any closer.
UP NEXT
- The Norse look to live to fight another day on Friday, as NKU will take on the winner of Youngstown State & Oakland at 3 PM.
