AKRON, Ohio. – Northern Kentucky University Norse Men's Soccer headed on the road for a big test on Sunday night, taking on #21 Akron. Coming off a last-minute winner against Union Commonwealth, the Norse were able to stay in the match all night, but fell just short, 1-0.

– NKU held its own in the first half, as they remained tied with the Zips 0-0 at the halftime break. Northern Kentucky lost the first half shot battle 6-4, and the corner battle 2-1.
