HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse Men's Soccer opened up its Horizon League season on Saturday night, taking on preseason favorites Green Bay. After a scoreless first half, the Norse conceded in the second, which ended up being the game-winner.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– Green Bay's Keegan Walker scored the lone goal of the match, putting in the winner in the 64th minute. 
– The Norse led the shot battle 10-5, with all of NKU's shots coming in the second half. 
– NKU won the corner battle 8-3.
– Norse keeper Alex Kron made a pair of saves in the match. 
– Bennett Gerak, James Maxwell, and Joshua Cline recorded shots on goal for NKU.
