Northern Kentucky Swimming Unveils 2026-27 Schedule

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's and women's swimming programs are ready for their third season of competition, set to open the 2026-27 campaign this October. The Norse women are set to compete in seven meets this year, with the Norse men competing in six. NKU will compete at various schools in the Cincinnati area, including Miami, Cincinnati, and Xavier, this fall, all leading up to the Horizon League Championships this February. 

NKU opens the season on October 10, taking on Cincinnati at 9 AM in Cincy. Then, the Norse women will compete against Indiana State on October 31 at 1 PM, while the NKU men will compete in an intrasquad scrimmage at Indiana State. In November, Northern Kentucky will swim at Miami University on November 6, competing against both Miami & Toledo on the women's side, and just against the RedHawks on the men's side. The following day, the Norse men & women swim at Xavier at 1 PM. Wrapping up the fall, the Norse will compete at the House of Champions meet, hosted by IU Indy at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. The meet runs for three days, from November 19 to November 21. 

In 2027, Northern Kentucky will take on Bellarmine on January 23 in Louisville. Then, NKU is on to the Horizon League Championships, held from February 17-20 at the IU Natatorium.
