FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's volleyball hit the road for its first-ever conference road contest, battling MIVA rival Purdue Fort Wayne on Friday night. The Norse started slow with a set one loss, but a 10-0 run in the second set gave NKU a late lead and a lot of momentum, but they couldn't close set two to tie the match. Northern Kentucky never led in set three as the Mastodons sealed the sweep.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– The Norse were out-hit, .049-.313 in the match, including a -.129 mark from the Norse in set one. Purdue Fort Wayne led the Norse in every major statistical category. 
– Juanmarco Diaz led the Norse in his return to the court, as he hadn't appeared since January 17. He totaled six kills and seven digs, both team highs. 
– Adam Blair posted an efficient attacking line, albeit on low volume, totaling five kills with no errors on seven attempts.
– Devlin Biggs had four kills and a pair of blocks. 
– Setter Kyle Saurer led the Norse in assists with 12.
