GAME SUMMARY
– Northern Kentucky took the lead in the second on a
Mark Nowak RBI double. Then, the Norse racked up eight runs in the third on six hits, all singles, two errors, and two HBPs. NKU kept building on its lead with one run in the fourth and four in the fifth, as the Norse hit three doubles in the frame. Miramontes allowed just one run as the Panthers were down to their last out, making it a 14-1 final.

EJ Miramontes threw the full seven innings, and threw the first 6.2 without allowing a Panther run. He finished the day with four hits, one earned run, no walks, and six strikeouts, the best pitching performance by any Norse this season.
