LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse baseball hit the road on Wednesday to take on Louisville. The Norse let up 16 runs in the loss, coming out to an early deficit.

– The Norse gave up two runs in the first before giving up six in the second to fall in an early 8-0 hole. An
Ethan Thomas third-inning solo shot was the only Norse run of the game as the Cardinals went on to score eight unanswered to win the game in run-rule fashion.

Carson French was the only one to throw a scoreless frame, not allowing a hit in his inning of work. Overall, the Cardinals notched 15 hits and drew seven walks.
