Norse Men’s Volleyball’s inaugural season comes to a close in MIVA Quarterfinal

MUNCIE, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's volleyball competed in its first-ever postseason match on Saturday, as the eighth-seeded Norse took on top-ranked Ball State in a MIVA quarterfinal matchup. The Norse battled hard, including taking set two down to the wire, but fell in three sets as the program's first-ever season came to an end.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– Northern Kentucky hit .316 as a team, but allowed the Cardinals to hit .552 on the evening, as Ball State recorded just five attack errors in the match. NKU had 20 kills in the second set, but fell 24-26 in its closest set of the match. 
– Individually, Juanmarco Diaz led all Norse with 11 kills and two blocks. 
Adam Blair posted an attacking line of 7-1-10 with a block. 
Ryan Peterson went 6-7 on attacks with a block. 
Griffin Wheatley had five kills with two aces. 
Nick Whitley recorded 20 assist
