AT NKU: Enters his third season with the Norse…sure-handed infielder that will fight for a starting role in the middle infield. 2010: Led all returning players in batting average, hitting .414 on the year...collected 18 doubles while hitting six home runs and one triple...All-GLVC first team honoree....All-Midwest first team honoree...ABCA All-Midwest Region first team honoree...lead all returning players with 50 RBIs. 2009: Saw action in 47 games with 37 starts…hit .292 with two home runs and 29 RBI…also hit 10 doubles and scored 32 runs.

BEFORE NKU: Spent two years with the Cardinals, redshirting one...played in 12 games with two starts…earned first career hit, RBI, and run scored at Alabama-Birmingham on Feb. 22, 2008…first career start came on March 8, 2008, versus Long Island University.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played all four years for his father, Shannon McCormick, Sr., at Muncie Burris High School…smacked 12 career home runs…set a school record and led the state of Indiana with a blistering .604 batting average as a senior…also holds Burris career records in runs (106) and batting average (.502)…named All-Area, first team All-Mid-Eastern Conference and team MVP all four years…also a standout on the hardwood as he scored 1,500 career points and holds a single-game record of 46 points.
