Biography

AT NKU: Begins his fifth season with the team …hard-working left-handed pitcher that has put in the extra effort in hopes of cracking into the rotation…spent one season as a part of the NKU men’s basketball team...son of former NKU men's basketball assistant coach Pat Ryan. 2011: Saw action in 12 games with six starts…finished with a 3-3 record and a 4.08 ERA…struck out 16 batters in 39.2 innings.   2010: Compiled a 1-1 record while making six appearances with two starts...Finished the season with an ERA of 7.59...surrendered nine runs in 10 2/3 innings...also struck out nine batters while only walking three. 2009: Pitched four innings of relief ball…gave up one run and struck out four of the 14 batters he faced…opponents hit .071 against him. 2008: Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Covington Holy Cross in 2007…competed with the varsity team for numerous years…helped lead the Indians to back-to-back 21 wins season during his final two seasons…had a 7-2 record in the regular season as a junior with 1.82 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 50 innings of work…also a member of the Indians' basketball team…coaches in baseball by Mike Holtz.
