2018: Made 15 appearances on the mound, including 12 starts…His 12 starts were the second-most on the team…Pitched 59.0 innings and struck out 32 batters…Earned the win in relief against ETSU on Feb. 18 by pitching 3.1 scoreless innings, and allowing just one hit and a walk.

2017: Made 18 appearance on the mound for the Norse, including 10 starts…Pitched 47.1 innings, striking out 36 batters...Held opponents to a .265 average during the season.

PRIOR TO NKU: Made 11 appearances, including 10 starts for Sinclair CC in 2016 ... posted a 4-4 record and a 4.00 ERA ... struck out 48 batters and walked just 16 in 54.0 innings pitched ... as a freshman in 2015, Basilone made 11 appearances and seven starts ... had a 3-0 record and 3.11 ERA ... struck out 36 in 37.2 innings pitched ... played for the Lexington High School Minutemen under head coach Kevin Morrow ... had a 0.70 ERA as a junior in high school where he tossed 50 innings, struck out 64, walked just 15 and accrued a 7-1 record ... was a first-team all-conference honoree and second-team All-Northwest District along with All-Ohio Honorable Mention and conference pitcher of the year honors in high school.
