2018 Horizon League All-Academic Team

2018: Made 10 starts in 17 appearances on the mound for the Norse this season…Led the team in innings pitched at 69.1 and ranked second with 59 strikeouts…Recorded nine strikeouts in the team’s game against Miami on March 9...Named to the 2018 Horizon League All-Academic Team.

2017: Made 36 appearances on the mound in relief for the Norse during the season, finishing with a 6-2 record…Had a 4.02 ERA in 62.2 innings pitched…Struck out 47 batters and held opponents to a .255 batting average…Recorded five saves on the year for the Norse. 

PRIOR TO NKU: Transfer from the University of Cincinnati ... made nine appearances and accrued a 5.62 ERA in 8.0 innings pitched as a sophomore at UC in 2016 ... pitched a scoreless and hitless inning in his collegiate debut at No. 5 LSU on Feb. 20 ... struck-out a career-high three batters in 1.1 innings against South Alabama on Feb. 28 ... tossed a career-high 1.2 innings vs. Wright State on April 5.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner at Conner High School, garnering numerous accolades including first team All-State (2014), KHSAA All-Tournament Team (2014) honors and Kentucky 33rd District and 9th Region Tournament MVP recognition (2014) ... was named one of Northern Kentucky's top-25 players by the Cincinnati Enquirer ... selected as a Division I All-Start pitcher and outfielder by the Northern Kentucky Baseball Coaches' Association in 2014 ... led the state of Kentucky with 42 stolen bases, a school record, in 2014 ... named a Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference All-Star in 2013 ... helped his team to a 33rd District Championship and 9th Region Championship in 2014 after being the District 33 runner-up in 2012.

PERSONAL: Son of Gary and Heidi Ross ... has one older sister, Savannah.
