Michael Lavric enters his first season with the NKU coaching staff following his four-year playing career with the Norse. He will work primarily with the goalkeepers.

Lavric holds NKU career records for wins (61) and shutouts (26) and stands second all-time at NKU with a 0.86 career goals against average. Lavric was a four-year starter for the Norse, starting his collegiate career with a 766 minute shutout streak and ending it with a nine-save effort for a national title. Lavric led all of Division II in goals allowed average (0.48) in 2007 and earned All-GLVC and All-Region honors in 2008.

Prior to NKU, Lavric was the Ohio State Player of the Year as goalkeeper for Gahanna Lincoln High School, setting a state record by posting 17 consecutive shutouts. He also earned All-Region and All-American honors as a prepster from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
