Michelle Caouette begins her second season at NKU and will serve as the Norse pitching coach as the Norse expand their coaching staff concurrent with the move to NCAA Division I.
Caouette comes to NKU from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn., where she served as an assistant coach for the Cardinals over the last two seasons. Prior to her work at Wesleyan, Caouette spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Springfield College, helping the Pride capture two conference championships during her tenure there.
In her four years at UConn, Caouette compiled five no-hitters and is among the top 10 record holders for strikeouts and saves for the Huskies, earning Big East honorable mention in the process. She was named an Academic All-Star twice during her collegiate career.
Caouette earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Connecticut and is looking to complete her Masters in Education from this spring from Springfield College.
