PRIOR TO NKU: Barnes was a second-team all-state and a first-team all-district selection with Western Brown, while also earning first team all-Cincinnati and first team all-conference honors on multiple occasions. She set the single season doubles record for the Broncos with 16. Barnes also has also competed for Cincy Doom since 2016, and is the sister of former Norse softball player Sydni Barnes.
