PRIOR TO NKU: Andrea Baumann joins the Norse after an outstanding high school career as one of Kentucky’s top golfers. A six-year varsity golfer, Baumann earned Region 8 Player of the Year honors twice and was a three-time Region 8 First Team selection while helping her team capture multiple regional and conference championships. She finished third at the 2023 Kentucky Class 2A State Tournament as her team claimed the state title and later earned All-State Second Team honors after placing eighth at the KHSAA State Tournament. In 2024, Baumann added a fourth-place finish at the All "A" State Tournament, was ranked No. 22 in Kentucky by the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association and No. 18 in the state by the Junior Golf Scoreboard, and represented the United States at the Optimist International Junior Championship at Trump Doral in Miami, where she placed 22nd among 86 competitors from around the world. As a senior in 2025, Baumann collected one tournament victory, five runner-up finishes, two third-place finishes and 13 top-10 finishes while repeating as Region 8 Player of the Year, winning the Region 8 championship and earning another All-State Second Team selection.

Away from the course, Baumann built an equally impressive résumé in the classroom and in her school community. She was a four-year varsity softball player and earned All-Region honors in 2024 while also competing for seven years in both the Kentucky Junior PGA and the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association. A proven student leader, Baumann served as freshman class vice president, sophomore class president, vice president of Student Council as a junior and Student Council president as a senior. She also led both the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Golf Club as president, was a member of the National Honor Society, Honor Roll, HOBY Leadership, Gifted and Talented, AmeriCorps and numerous other service organizations, demonstrating a commitment to leadership, academics and community involvement that matches her success in athletics.
