Melissa Yeazell joined the Northern Kentucky University women's golf program as an assistant coach in September of 2023.
She brings a wealth of knowledge along with her as she is a former collegiate athlete, professional golfer, and high school golf coach. She most recently was the Princeton High School Varsity Boys & Girls golf coach since 2022.
Additionally, Yeazell is the Tri-County Golf Ranch owner since 2015 where she manages all aspects of the facility including teaching, marketing, turf grass management, human resources, merchandising, tournament/even facilitation, social media, budgeting club fitting and club repair.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in sports management from Xavier University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the women's golf team from 1997-2001. Yeazell was also a team captain from 1999-2001 and went on to earn her master's degree in business administration in 2007.
Yeazell is a certified professional in instruction from the Pro Golfers Association (PGA) of America and has earned numerous accolades throughout her career. She was the SOPGA Ladies Champion in 2004, 2009, 2001 and 2022 and was the 2014 Bill Strausbaugh Award Winner. She also earned the 2012 Player Development Award Winner and was named to the Oak Hills High School Hall of Fame in 2009.
