BEFORE NKU
Ella played her high school golf at Assumption High School in Louisville, KY, where she competed four years for her high school team. She was named team caption during her junior and senior years in 2020 and 2021. She qualified for the KHSAA State Tournament in 2021 where she finished 29
th individually. She was awarded the Jace Bugg Award in 2021, which is given by the Kentucky PGA Junior Tour for outstanding sportsmanship, positive attitude and characteristics that embody what golf represents.
Ella grew up in Louisville, KY. She is daughter to Mike and Karen Hardy. Her dad, Mike Hardy, played golf at the University of Kentucky, later turning professional, and is who Ella credits for being a great teacher.
