Gracie played her high school golf at Olentangy Liberty High School in Powell, OH, where she was named the Ohio Capital Conference Player of the Year, Buckeye Division, in 2020 and was recognized as one of the top 12 high school golfers in Central Ohio in 2020. During her career she was named First Team All-Conference each of her last three high school seasons, named Honorable Mention All-District in 2019, Second Team All-District in 2020, and earned MVP for her high school team in 2019 and 2020 after leading her team to their first two conference titles in school history. She was the Central Ohio Golf Association Player of the Year in 2019. She also earned the Patriot Award and Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award from her high school in 2020. She is also a recipient of the IBM Watson Scholarship.
Gracie grew up in Powell, OH. She is daughter to Kevin and Margaret Baun and sister to Sophie Baun and Austin Baun.
