2024 Highlights
-Finished as 4^th Norse during the season opening ETSU Aquathlon, finishing 30^th overall in a time of 30:24 on August 30th.
-Completed 1^st triathlon ever, finishing 4^th for the Norse and 16^th overall in a time of 40:20 and the U Indy Super Sprint on September 7th.
-Finished 3^rd for the Norse and helping lead the team to its 1^st ever podium team finish at a race at the Millikin University Splash & Dash on September 20th.  
-Finished 3^rd for the Norse and 1st ever sprint triathlon distance race finishing in a time of 1:53:14.

Prior to joining NKU Triathlon
-Villanueva participated in NCAA water polo as a goalkeeper for San Diego State University and Fresno State University while earning a degree in Spanish.  
-Competed in women's water polo in high school
- 2020 graduate of San Ysidro (California) High School.

Villanueva is from San Diego, California and is studying to obtain a Business M.B.A.
