Max Edwards began working for NKU Athletics as the Marketing & Promotions Graduate Assistant in July 2019 and transitioned to Norse Sports Properties in 2021. Within Norse marketing, he oversaw men’s & women’s soccer, softball, and the Norse Kids’ Club. Currently, he oversees business development of new partnerships and partner activation.

Before coming to NKU, Max worked with Ohio State Athletics for four years as a Fan Experience & Promotions Chief Executive. While with OSU Athletics, he assisted in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and in-game promotion activation for men’s volleyball, men’s ice hockey, men’s lacrosse, and women’s basketball. He also served as Football Gameday Assistant. Within his various sports, he helped set numerous student attendance records as well as hosting some of the highest attended games. His position also allowed him to work the 2018 Women’s Basketball Final Four, the 2017 Men’s Volleyball National Championship, as well as various Big Ten Championships.

Outside of Ohio State, Max spent two years with the Clippers as part of the promo team and spent a year during the inaugural season of the USPBL as a marketing assistant. Max is a native of Sterling Heights, Michigan and graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Education with a focus on the sport industry and from Northern Kentucky University with a M.A. in Communication.
