What Sturgeon did this week:  Sturgeon helped NKU capture three wins this week in both singles and doubles play.  She defeated Marieve Edwards 6-0, 6-3 as the Norse upset No. 47 Charleston (W.Va.) on Tuesday.  Jenny Hand and she picked up the only NKU points in doubles play with an 8-4 victory.  Sturgeon earned a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan’s Macey Hallstedt on Friday.  Hall and Sturgeon also won in doubles play as the Norse swept the Panthers.  Sturgeon extended her winning streak on Saturday with a victory over Southern Indiana’s Alyssa Hoover.  She is now 7-2 overall on the season.
