What Carson did this week: Carson had a solid week as the Norse went 6-2 this week with games against Bellarmine, Cedarville, No. 2 Indianapolis and Saint Joseph’s. On Wednesday, she finished 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a run as the NKU split a doubleheader against Bellarmine, including a perfect 3-for-3 performance as the Norse picked up a 5-2 victory in Game 1. Carson followed by going 5-for-6 on Thursday as NKU swept two games from Cedarville. She went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBIs and a double as the Norse cruised to an 8-0 win in the opening game against the Lady Jackets, and she finished 3-for-3 with two runs in an 11-3 victory in the nightcap.
