What Correa did this week:  Correa was the deciding factor during the Norse’s 5-4 victory over Southern Indiana on Friday in the NCAA tournament.  He faced Michael Kuzaj, and Kuzaj won the first set with a 7-5 tiebreaker.  Correa responded with a 7-3 tiebreak victory in the second set and took a 4-1 lead in the final before Kuzaj was unable to continue due to an injury.  The retirement gave Correa and NKU the win.  On Sunday, Correa helped the Norse advance to the NCAA Tournament round of 16 for the first time in program history.  The Norse entered his match tied for the second match in a row, and he again came through with a 6-3, 1-6, 7-5 victory over Northwood’s Florian Boggia.  He enters the next round having won 15 consecutive matches and is 20-1 on the season.
