What Thacker did this season: Thacker, a senior guard from Mt. Washington, Ky., averaged 12.9 points and a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game this season. She also pulled down a team-high 56 offensive rebounds while connecting on a team-leading 58 3-point field goals. In the first round of the Women's Basketball Invitational, Thacker scored a career-high 25 pointsto help lead the Norse to an 84-72 victory over McNeese State, securing the program's first NCAA Division I post-season win.
In addition to leading the Norse with her performance on the court, Thacker has also been a leader in the classroom, caring a 3.829 grade point average into the spring semester in a challenging radiologic technology program. She earned second-team All-Atlantic Sun Conference and Academic All-Atlantic Sun honors in her final season with NKU.
Thacker finished her four-year career with the Norse with 849 points and 524 rebounds. She dished out 165 assists, collected 116 steals and blocked 62 shots for NKU. For her contribution to the program, Thacker was named the recipient of the Margery Rouse Athlete of Distinction Award and voted "Ms. Norse" by the Student-Athlete Advisory Council at "The Victor" awards.
