What Grubb did this season: Grubb, a sophomore from Norwood, Ohio, help lead the NKU women's track & field team to a seventh-place finish at the Atlantic Sun Conference Outdoor Championship this season. She showcased her skills in the heptathlon for the Norse. Grubb scored points for NKU in the multi-event, earning 3,936 total points to finish sixth. She finished third in the long jump at 5.24 meters and fourth in the 800-meter with a time of 2:39.97. She also had a standout performance at the indoor championship as well, finishing fifth in the pentathlon with a school-record 3,084 points. Grubb was named the team's most improved and most valuable field athlete for her performance this season.
