What Middendorf did last week: He was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week after throwing five scoreless innings during a 12-0 victory over Montevallo. Middendorf allowed four hits and one walk while striking out five batters in the win.

Up next: NKU hits the road for a three-game series against Henderson State in Arkadelphia, Ark., March 6-7.
