What Schwaeble did last week: She combined with Chelsie Roy on a three-hit shutout as NKU posted a 6-0 win against No. 20 Quincy on Saturday. Schwaeble allowed just one hit and struck out nine batters in six innings of work to pick up her eighth victory of the season. She also hit a three-run homer in the opening game against Quincy, which defeated NKU 4-3.

Up next: NKU meets Missouri-St. Louis in the first round of the GLVC Tournament on Friday at East Peoria, Ill.
