What Beattie did last week: He scored two goals Wednesday night to lead NKU to a 2-1 road victory against Ohio Dominican in Columbus, Ohio. Beattie netted both goals in the second half as NKU improved to 12-2-3 overall. He was also named Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year on Friday.

In the polls: The NKU men’s soccer team is currently No. 8 in the NCAA Division II national poll. The Norse are No. 1 in the Midwest Region poll and are likely to host the opening rounds of the NCAA Division II Tournament.
