Ethan Faulkner

Ethan Faulkner was named Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach in July of 2014. Faulkner’s primary duties include recruiting, scouting and working with the point guards.
 
Faulkner was a student assistant for the Norse during the 2013-14 campaign. During that time, he was responsible for assisting with daily practices, game-day duties and working with the point guards. Faulkner was a point guard for NKU from 2009-12.
 
Over his four-year career, Faulkner scored 728 points in 117 games played. He also left his mark in Northern Kentucky’s annals, dishing out the 10th-most assists all-time (350) and registered the 11th-best free-throw percentage (.806).
 
In NKU's first season as a Division I program in 2012-13, Faulkner poured in 179 points, which included eight double-digit scoring performances, and delivered 89 assists. He closed NKU's DII era during the 2011-12 campaign with 300 points, 130 assists and a spot on the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Second Team. In NKU's NCAA Tournament game against Findlay, Faulkner poured in a career-best 24 points.
 
Coaching runs in the Faulkner family, as Ethan’s twin brother Evan is the head coach at Ripley High School in Charleston, W.Va.
