FLORENCE, Ala. – Sophomore outside hitter
Sarah Drennen recorded 19 kills and attacked at a .417 clip as the Northern Kentucky University volleyball team rallied from a two-set deficit to knock off host North Alabama, 23-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-20, 15-12, Saturday at the North Alabama Classic.

Nemcek, a junior middle hitter from Geneva, Ill., finished with 15 kills, nine blocks and nine digs. Sophomore outside hitter
Noelle Peterson collected 13 kills for the Norse, who hit .197 for the match.

Jenna Schreiver dished out 45 assists and collected four kills. Freshman defensive specialist
Kylee Tarantino recorded a match-leading 18 digs and added five kills.
NKU concluded the two-day event Saturday night by dropping a four-set decision to California (Pa.), which won by scores of 25-23, 25-20,16-25, 25-20. Nemcek led NKU (4-4) with 21 kills and hit .292. She also added 12 digs and seven blocks.
Peterson finished with 13 kills for NKU, which attacked at a.132 clip for the match. Meghan Franz recorded 13 kills and attacked at a .684 clip for California (5-3), which hit .129 for the match.
