Hogue gave NKU a 1-0 lead just three minutes into the game when she headed in a rebound shot. Mason began the scoring sequence with a shot that hit the crossbar, but Hogue followed and finished the play with her second goal of the season.

Missouri S&T (6-5, overall, 6-5 GLVC) tied the contest at 1-all in the 40th minute on a goal by Lauren Todd. NKU, though, scored three goals in the first 17 minutes of the second half to build a 4-1 advantage. Mason netted three goals during that span, giving her a team-leading 13 this season.
