HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University women's tennis team completed a perfect Easter weekend with a 9-0 victory over Great Lakes Valley Conference foe Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday.

The Norse (6-3, 3-0 GLVC East) surrendered just one game in doubles competition before cruising through the singles flights. # Stephanie Isaacs and Maggie Koetter# each had perfect singles matches, 6-0, 6-0, over Jamie Brown and Alycia Lynch, respectively.

Michelle Schirmann took her singles record to .500 with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Jennifer Settle.

After taking the first set, 6-0, in the No. 4 flight, Whitney Thomas had to battle back from a 3-0 deficit to post a 6-4 victory in Set 2 over Arielle Mobley.

#Kristen Sunday and Jillian Sturgeon# also claimed singles victories.

NKU returns to action on Wednesday by hosting Xavier at 3 p.m.
