COLD DAY IN WISCONSIN: NKU, which was held to a program-low 36 points last February by Wisconsin-Parkside during a 50-36 loss in DeSimone Gymnasium, duplicated that offensive output Saturday and dropped a 44-36 decision to the Rangers. The Norse shot just 23.9 percent from the field and watched their four-game winning streak halted.
Casse Mogan led NKU with 14 points. The Norse did not make a 3-point shot (0-for-6) and were 14-for-23 from the free-throw line. Wisconsin-Parkside led by as many as 11 points in the second half. NKU cut the Ranger advantage to 38-34 on a pair of free throws by
Jaimie Hamlet with 3:12 left, but the Norse scored just two points the remainder of the game.
NKU still owns a 25-8 lead in the all-time series against Wisconsin-Parkside, but the Norse are just 2-7 in their last nine trips to DeSimone Gymnasium.

NKU led by double figures much of the second half, but Bellarmine pulled to within six points twice. A layup by Kylie Brady sliced the NKU lead to 54-48 with 6:10 remaining.
