BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Kendall Ross set a new record in the 60-meter dash for the Northern Kentucky University men's track & field team at the Gladstein Invitational, hosted by Indiana University.
 
Ross turned in a time of 7.47 seconds to set the new mark, previously set in 2009 by Henry McCormick (7.55).
 
Three of NKU's distance runners also turned in personal bests in the meet.  In the 3000-meter race, J.J. Webber crossed in 8:34.75 and Zac Holtkamp finished in 9:00.20.  Additionally, Andrew Wolfer turned in a time of 16:00.12 in the 5000-meter race to set a new personal mark.
 
The NKU men will be back in action this weekend at the SPIRE Midwest Open in Geneva, Ohio.
